Driving Directions to Arthur

From St Louis or the SW:
If you are coming from the south – Generally take I-70 east to Effingham. Then Take I-57 North to Exit 203  at Arcola. Exit and head LEFT (WEST) on State Route 133. Follow Route 133 nine miles west into Amish Country.Travel time about 3 hours.

When in Arthur, just past the High School, you will come to a 4 way stop. Turn Right heading North towards Arthur’s downtown. We are located one block North of the Grade School which you will pass on your right side. We are on the next corner inside The WoodLoft – Brown shingles on the right. If you are in a Motor Coach, continue on to the next corner and you will see the Amish Country Welcome Center on the corner on your right. Pull in there and your guests can use the restrooms.

From Chicago or from the NE:You will be coming SOUTH down I-57 to EXIT 203 at Arcola. Exit and turn RIGHT (WEST) on STATE ROUTE 133. Follow Route 133 nine miles west into Amish Country, then follow the directions above. Travel time about 3 hours.

From Decatur, Peoria, Bloomington or from the NW:
At Decatur, take State Route 36 East  approximately 23 miles from the Lake Decatur bridge to the Arthur Road. Turn RIGHT (SOUTH) on the Arthur road and proceed 5 miles into Arthur. Just after crossing the railroad tracks you will see the Amish Country Welcome Center on your Left. ACM Tours is located one block South of the Welcome Center on the corner.
