This group schedule offers a sample time format (remember we can vary these times to suite your travel schedules) for our basic, and most popular, package including simply a step on guided countryside tour, an Amish home meal with a farm tour, and plenty of time to visit shops, both out in the Amish countryside and some of the unique shops right in Arthur. We do more of this package than any other offering.

Quilts, Quilts, and More Quilts One Day Sample Itinerary – add this quilt orientated tour onto our Arthur Quilt Showannual quilt show here in Arthur (usually around the end of April) and see some fine Amish handcraft. Our Arthur quilt competition usually attracts over 100 local entries and there are many more past winners and other quilts on display and/or for sale in local stores and shop windows about the downtown area and in the nearby country shops. The Arthur Amish area has a number of fabric and quilt supply shops as well as shops offering finished quilts by the hundreds. During the rest of the year we can schedule this quilt tour to visit Amish quilt shops, fabric shops and notions shops in the area as well as incorporating and Amish Home Meal for your group.

Enjoy the Fall Harvest Color Tour itinerary in Arthur Amish Country and East Central Illinois,fallbuggy spend a day in Amish country taking in the sites, smells, and get a sense of days gone by experiencing our more relaxing way of life. While this part of the country is not know for “leaf-peeping” tours, fall brings on its own special feeling to Illinois Amish Country. Fall Foliage in Illinois Amish Country – Yes, we have leaves, and a whole lot more. Hand shocked corn fields, Apples and fresh cider shops, crowded pumpkin patches, fall gift shops, smoky chimneys, special fall festivals almost every weekend… Plenty to make a fall visit or tour worth your while.

Theater and Amish Country Meal and Tour – The Penn Station Theater in Downtown Arthur, IL has a 2023 production schedule running thru Oct 28, 2023, “The Legend of Noak Zark , a 2 by 2 Musical Mystery.” Depending on your travel schedule, groups like to include an itinerary with a step on guided tour in the morning, a lunch at an Amish home, take a short The Legend of Noah ZarkAmish farm tour, and then finish up with either a matinee or evening performance at Penn Station in Downtown Arthur. If your travel itinerary calls for you to return home on this day and are from a bit farther away, the matinee productions on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays work best. If your drive times are an hour or so, the evening performance can be easily scheduled with an afternoon Amish home meal. If your time is tight, we can add just an Amish meal before the theatre and your group will have a fun and special adventure.
